This application has no new impacts on the historically important landscape at Kinmel.

Planning Policy Wales (PPW)

The Welsh Assembly Government published Planning Policy Wales (PPW) in March 2002. Policies which relate to the protection of the historic environment are found in Chapter 6.

Paragraph 6.5.23 states that local planning authorities should protect parks and gardens and their settings, particularly those parks and gardens listed in the first part of the "Register of Landscape, Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales."
